The Andhra Pradesh state government conducts an entrance exam AP EAMCET for the students who completed their intermediate course. Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) is an entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for the academic year 2018-19 for Diploma Holders Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy and for B.Sc (Mathematics) Degree Holders (i) For lateral admission into 2nd year regular B.E. / B.Tech. Courses in both University and Unaided Private Professional Institutions (Minority & Non-Minority) approved by All India Council for Technical Education.
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
JEE is the entrance examination for Engineering courses which formed by merging the two national level examinations named AIEEE & IIT-JEE. JEE entrance exam is divided into two tiers JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main 2018 is scheduled on 8th April 2018. JEE Main 2018 entrance exam is for the admission in to the engineering courses offered by NIT, IIIT and other colleges/institutions. JEE Advanced 2018 in scheduled on 20th May 2018 organized by IIT Madras. JEE Advanced 2018 is the entrance exam for the admission in to the engineering courses offered by IIT.
Some of the Deemed and Autonomous Universities have their own entrance examinations through which admissions are done to any course.Students should note that appearing or qualifying in the above examinations does not guarantee his/her admission.
Once student is qualified in any one of the above mentioned examinations, he/she need to attend the counselling conducted by the relative examination authorities. Counselling dates will be announced by the respective authorities after results are published.
