Admission into Top Engineering Colleges in Telangana

TS EAMCET

The Telangana state government conducts an entrance exam TS EAMCET for the students who completed their intermediate course. TS EAMCET is the popularly known entrance exam for engineering courses in the colleges which are across the state conducted by JNTUH.

Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET)

TS ECET is an engineering entrance examination for the students who hold diploma degree. The Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test 2018 entrance exam is conducted by JNTUH on behalf of TSCHE. Applications for TS ECET 2018 entrance exam are yet to be accepted.

The above mentioned examinations are the state level entrance examinations for engineering courses.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)

JEE is the entrance examination for Engineering courses which formed by merging the two national level examinations named AIEEE & IIT-JEE. JEE entrance exam is divided into two tiers JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main 2018 is scheduled on 8th April 2018. JEE Main 2018 entrance exam is for the admission in to the engineering courses offered by NIT, IIIT and other colleges/institutions. JEE Advanced 2018 in scheduled on 20th May 2018 organized by IIT Madras. JEE Advanced 2017 is the entrance exam for the admission in to the engineering courses offered by IIT.

Some of the Deemed and Autonomous Universities have their own entrance examinations through which admissions are done to any course. Students should note that appearing or qualifying in the above examinations does not guarantee his/her admission.

Once student is qualified in any one of the above mentioned examinations, he/she need to attend the counselling conducted by the relative examination authorities. Counselling dates will be announced by the respective authorities after results are published. The eligibility documents and academic certificates will be verified and then students are allowed to take the web options in which students can give the priorities of the colleges. The student must visit the allotted college and confirm their admission by paying minimum amount of college fee. College authorities once again verify candidate’s eligibility and academic documents.
