NEET PG Rank Card 2018 released at nbe.edu.in

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the rank card for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2018 on the official website, the link for which is nbe.edu.in. This year, the NEET was held on January 7.

NEET PG (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test–Post Graduate) is a national level examination organized by the NBE (National Board of Examinations). Candidates looking for admission in MD/MS or PG Diploma Courses can appear in the NEET PG exam. Top colleges and universities of the country give admission in PG Medical courses on the basis of NEET PG score.

STEPS TO CHECK NEET PG 2018 RANK CARD:

  • Log on to the official website, nbe.edu.in
  • Click on ‘NEET PG’
  • Under ‘General links’, click on ‘NEET PG-2018 Rank’
  • Enter your roll number, date of birth and image code in the space provided
  • Click on login
  • Rank card will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a printout for future reference

CUT OFF DETAILS OF THE NEET PG RESULTS 2018:

The eligibility criteria for the general category is 50th percentile and the cut off score out of 1200 is 321

The eligibility criteria for the SC/ST/OBC/SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH is 40th percentile and the cut off score out of 1200 is 281

The eligibility criteria for the unreserved category- PH is 45th percentile and the cut off score out of 1200 is 300

ABOUT NEET PG EXAM:

NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

It is a single window entrance examination for PG courses. No other entrance examination, ever at state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG diploma courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 w.e.f. 2017 admission session.
