Indian Institute of Management (IIMs)
The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are a group of 20 public, autonomous institutes of management education and research in India. They primarily offer postgraduate, doctoral and executive education programmes. The two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), offering the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), is the flagship programme across all IIMs.
Management education has now become so popular among young individuals that today everyone wants to pursue an MBA or PGDM degree. Interested applicants often go through the list of IIM Colleges in India and dream to grab admission in any of the IIMs because of the prestige and reputation attached to it. 1. Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A)
Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) is the leading and second IIM established right after IIM Calcutta on 11, December, 1961 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is one of the top public business school of India that is often referred as WIMWI (Well-known Institute Of Management In Western India). This IIM branch is ranked as No. 1 by The Hindu Business Line-MBA Universe and in 2016.
2. Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B)
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) is located in one of the most high-tech capital of India that has high class infrastructure with top quality faculties. It is the third batch of IIMs founded in 1973 in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is the best Indian management institutes. As per National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) list of April 2016 by the Government of India it is the topmost Indian management institute.
3. Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C)
Indian Institute of Calcutta (IIM-C)is the 1st national Post-Graduate studies and Research institute by Government of India and in collaboration with between Alfred P. Sloan School of Management (MIT), the Government of West Bengal, The Ford Foundation and Indian industry that established in13, November 1961 (54 years) inJoka, Kolkata, West Bengal.
4. Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM-I)
Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM-I) campus is a photographer’s delight with breathtaking view where you can find various kind of birds. This 6th addition of autonomous IIM College was established in 1996 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
