JEE Main 2018 Registrations 

The Joint Entrance Exam – JEE Main 2018 Registration process will starts from today at 10 am (1st December 2018). CBSE released JEE Main 2018 Information Bulletin. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) is the National level Engineering Entrance Exam for B.E / B.Tech and B.Arch / B.Plan Courses. JEE Main 2018 Exam Dates Announced previously by CBSE. Offline exam will be conducted on 08 April 2018 and online mode exam will be conducted on 15th and 16th April 2018.

JEE Main 2018 is conducted by CBSE in online and offline modes for admission in NIT’s (National Institute of Technology), IIIT’s (Indian Institute of Information Technology) and other (CFTs) Centrally Funded Technically Institutions across all over India. Candidates who will successfully clear the JEE Main 2018 examination will qualify to appear for JEE Advanced Exam to complete the admission process.

JEE Main Application form

Candidates read all the instructions carefully i.e (how to fill JEE Main 2018 application form) before filling JEE Main application form.

The application process follows three stages which are given as follows:

  • Filling all the basic information
  • Uploading images
  • Submitting Application Fee

Before filling the JEE Main application form you must have the following documents:

  • Scanned Copies of photograph, signature, thumb impressions
  • Class 10th and 12th related information
  • Credit Card/Debit Card
  • Aadhaar Card

JEE Main 2018 Eligibility criteria:

The general eligibility criteria for JEE Main is that the candidate should be class 12th pass with minimum 75% marks. Other important eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

Age Criteria:

Only those applicants whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1993 are eligible to write the JEE Main Exam.

Educational Qualification Criteria:

Applicants who have passed Class 12th/Qualifying examination in 2015 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2019 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2018.

JEE Main Exam Pattern

A total of 90 questions are asked and there is negative marking. Only Objective type questions will be asked in Paper-1 which will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. There will be 30 questions in all the 3 sections from Paper -1 carrying total 360 marks. Each question carries four marks. The total time given to applicants is 3 hours. Paper-1 will be organized in both online and offline mode.
